Ross Robotics is a startup company developing a sophisticated robotics platform, exploiting CERN robotics software originally developed and deployed for production tasks at CERN. Their innovative modular hardware approach needed software to perform a wide range of tasks in autonomous manner and such software was exactly what CERN had developed for the needs of the LHC.
